Ornate Coffee Table

This retro rectangular coffee table has been given a new life. It has exquisite detail on the sides and tapered  legs which give it a mid-century feel.  The piece was stripped of all the 70's bamboo trim work and Veneer back to the bare wood, then given a semi-transparent burnt wood chip stain to bring out the wood grain and tones. Now it is fit to be placed in any home to give a fresh modern take on a classic piece.  

Tomlinson Coffee Table Redux

By request from a buyer this Tomlinson Coffee Table was completely refinished again in a more organic neutral tone with a transparent base.  The finish is to replicate the styles seen in Restoration Hardware but giving a more colorized gray tone similar to the raw bare wood look that is quickly gaining more popularity this year in upscale furnishing stores.  This item has already been spoken for but if the style is popular more will come. 

Drexel Occassional Table

This Antique Drexel Occasional Table originally had split and no longer usable wood.  It has since been replaced and refinished in an American Chestnut Satin finish with white enamel accents.  Some of the more dated pieces of the table were sanded and removed to give a more contemporary appearance.

Tomlinson Coffee Table

Just completed! This vintage round coffee table originally manufactured by the custom furniture maker Tomlinson was completely revitalized. It has beautifully tailored legs which give it a mid-century feel with a little extra flare hexagon detail on the table top.  The piece was completely stripped and refinished in a satin american chestnut then given a few fresh coats of tung oil and polyurethane to protect the finish for years to come. Piece measures 16" H x 40" D.

Old Coffee Table

This beautiful coffee table has been completely refinished in a hard enamel white high gloss to highlight all the clean lines while all the details have been given extra attention with a metallic mercury paint to bring the table to the 21st century. Item can be found at Urban Relics in Marietta, GA for $195.

Mid-Century 2 Drawer Chest

This two drawer chest was originally manufactured by American of Martinsville. It was taken completely apart and sanded down to the bare wood. The outer shell was sealed and coated with a high gloss white enamel. While the drawers were each stained and sealed in a dark Jacobean. Each drawer received a high gloss finish to give it a clean contemporary look while retaining the original modern design. Made of solid walnut. Item can be found at Paris on Ponce in Atlanta, GA for $395.

Mid-Century Side Table

This Mid-Century Side Table was originally in a complete disarray.  It has since been fully stripped and sanded to the bare wood.  The bottom shelf was removed to give a clean line on the legs and the wood was stained in a dark Jacobean.  The wood was then sealed and had multiple coats of oil added to give a super high gloss sheen. Item is for sale for $175 located at Encore Fine Furnishings in  Roswell, GA.
